The company raised $33.3 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Chubb on September 22, 2015, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $69.87 million. American Family Ventures, Teamworthy Ventures, Blumberg Capital, RRE Ventures, Core Innovation Capital and Route 66 Ventures also participated in the round. The funding will be used to invest in talent acquisition to further enhance its digital insurance platform and to introduce new, innovative product offerings for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Previously, the company raised $14 million of Series B venture funding from American Family Ventures, Tugboat Ventures and Route 66 Ventures on March 9, 2015, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $15.24 million. Blumberg Capital, Bullpen Capital, RRE Ventures, Core Innovation Capital and Thomas Lehrman also participated in the round.
