The company raised $125 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by T. Rowe Price and Koch Disruptive Technologies on May 7, 2018, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $650 million. Zhongwei Capital, Qatar Investment Authority, Disruptive Technology Advisers, Andreessen Horowitz, Two Sigma Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Hewlett Packard Pathfinder, SV Angel, FUEL Capital and Triangle Peak Partners also participated in the round. The funds will be used to invest in research & development, hire engineers and others to focus on bringing more capabilities to DC/OS and fund the company's global expansion into territories including the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.
