The company raised $3.5 million of Series A1 venture funding in a deal led by TLcom Capital on April 19, 2018, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $12.25 million. Social Capital, Kapor Capital, Golden Palm Investments and Richard Owens also participated in the round. The funding will enable the company to continue building out its infrastructure and partnerships, in order to scale and expand into more African countries.
